In-state tuition and fees rose 3.1 percent for 2018-19 at Massasoit Community College, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Massachusetts residents paid $4,824 to attend the two-year public institution this year – $144 more than the $4,680 charged for 2017-18.

Non-resident students would have paid 102.5 percent more than residents this year, or $9,768. Non-resident tuition and fees grew 1.5 percent from $9,624 in 2017-18.

100 percent of the school’s undergraduate population are Massachusetts residents.

Data shows 76 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 618 students received grants or scholarships totaling $2.7 million and 184 students took out student loans totaling more than $856,271.

Including all undergraduates (6,995), 3,354 students used grants or scholarships totaling $12.3 million, and 1,066 students took out $5.1 million in federal student loans.
