Enrollment at PROMISE College and Career Academy rises to 173 for 2025-26

PROMISE College and Career Academy reported 173 students enrolled during the 2025-26 school year, as noted by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.

This figure is a 25.4% increase over the earlier school year, when the academy had 138 students enrolled.

Within the 2025-26 student body, boys accounted for 57.2% and girls made up 42.8% of enrollees.

The data further indicated that Black students comprised the majority, representing 59% of the school’s population.

The academy operates within the Brockton Public Schools District, whose central office is located in Brockton.

Statewide, Massachusetts had 900,487 students enrolled in the 2025-26 school year.

Massachusetts stands sixth nationally for per-pupil funding, investing nearly $25,000 per student, according to a 2026 Education Data Initiative report.
