Former Plymouth South High School standout Amelia Freitas played on Thursday, May 8 in hopes of reaching the NCAA Division II Softball Championship

On Thursday, May 8, former Plymouth South High School standout Amelia Freitas’ current collegiate team the SNHU Penmen lost 2-4 against the Wilmington Wildcats in the NCAA Division II Softball Championship.

The game took place at Jackson Athletic Complex at 11 a.m. and was the first matchup against the Wilmington Wildcats in the tournament.

The SNHU Penmen’s next game will take place on Friday, May 9 at 4:30 p.m. at Jackson Athletic Complex.
