Plymouth County exported $1.4 billion worth of goods in 2018, according to the U.S. Department of Commerce International Trade Administration (ITA), a decrease of 1.6 percent from $1.4 billion in 2017.
The ITA promotes trade and investments in the United States through data aggregation and studies on global markets and specific U.S. regions. The agency utilizes its research to negotiate on behalf of U.S. industries and is also responsible for enforcing compliance with trade agreements.
Congressman Stephen F. Lynch shared updates on local events and meetings held on January 16, including collaborations with Rep. McGovern at Quincy Community Action Program and discussions with VA Boston Healthcare leadership about veterans’ services.
The week’s cheapest midgrade gas price in Plymouth County stood at $2.99 per gallon in the week ending Jan. 3.
The lowest price for a gallon of diesel gas in Plymouth County during the week ending Jan. 3 was $3.29, according to customer reports to GasBuddy.
