Diesel gas was sold at the lowest price of $4.99 per gallon at three gas stations in Plymouth County during the week ending May 30, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.
Countywide, diesel gas averaged $5.62 per gallon.
GasBuddy reports show that diesel gas was available at 70 of the 224 reported gas stations in Plymouth County.
Across Massachusetts, the average reported price for a gallon of diesel gas fell to $5.68, compared to the week before.
The U.S. Energy Information Administration said gasoline prices continue to react to both international oil markets and domestic fuel supply conditions. Analysts monitoring the energy market have pointed to refinery utilization rates, U.S. crude oil inventories, OPEC+ production policies and seasonal driving demand as factors influencing fuel costs in 2026, particularly during periods of refinery outages or shipping disruptions affecting global oil supplies.
