On Friday, Feb. 28, former Whitman Hanson Regional High School standout Rian Schwede’s current college team, the Dallas Baptist Patriots, lost 7-6 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Oral Roberts Golden Eagles.

The game took place at J. L. Johnson Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Golden Eagles this season.

The Patriots’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 2 p.m. at J. L. Johnson Stadium against Oral Roberts Golden Eagles.
