Lynch has represented Massachusetts’s 8th District in Congress since replacing Joe Moakley in 2001 and previously served in both chambers of the Massachusetts legislature. Born in Boston in 1955 and currently residing there, Lynch holds degrees from Wentworth Institute of Technology and Boston College.
