Of the 3,629 people living in South Duxbury in 2019, 49.7 percent (1,804) were women and 50.3 percent (1,825) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Plymouth Reporter.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 1,022-to-894. In the 65 and over age range, there were 332 females and 333 males.
