Mattapoisett Center ranked 49th among cities in Massachusetts by annual earnings per resident, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The median income of Mattapoisett Center residents was $45,943 per year, adjusted for inflation. It had 1,470 households with a population of 3,594.

The city with the highest median resident income in the state was Dover with $82,303 per year after adjusting for inflation – $36,360 more than Mattapoisett Center. It had 839 households with a population of 2,533.
