Mattapoisett Center ranked 51st among cities in Massachusetts by annual earnings per resident, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The median income of Mattapoisett Center residents was $48,099 per year, adjusted for inflation. It had 1,391 households with a population of 3,354.

The city with the highest median resident income in the state was Dover with $92,083 per year after adjusting for inflation – $43,984 more than Mattapoisett Center. It had 853 households with a population of 2,539.
