Of the 5,837 people living in Hingham in 2020, 56.4 percent (3,291) were women and 43.6 percent (2,546) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Plymouth Reporter.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by 526. In the 65 and over age range, there were 442 females and 358 males.
