Town of Hanover Email Outage Update 12/5/22

Town of Hanover Email Outage Update 12/5/22

The Town of Hanover email has been inactive since Friday, December 2, 2022, due to a high-level "security incident" from our email host, Rackspace. The town of Hanover is actively migrating to a new email host because of the severity of the incident. This transition is expected to take between 24 and 48 hours.

Town officials and staff members will not be able to send or receive email messages until the migration is complete. If you need to contact an individual or town department, please use our Departments Directory for phone contact information. This disruption does not affect Hanover Public Schools, Department of Public Works, and John Curtis Free Library email addresses.

Once this issue has been resolved, a notification will be posted on Hanover-MA.gov and you may need to resend previously sent email messages to hanover-ma.gov.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Hanover Town Manager Joe Colangelo at 339-214-5303.
