Chigozie Adigwe Named MASCAC Men's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week | https://www.bsubears.com/
Bridgewater State University sophomore Chigozie Adigwe has been selected as the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Men's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week.
Adigwe placed second in the 110-meter hurdles and finished third in the 400-meter hurdles this past weekend at the BSU Bears Invitational. The Lowell, Massachusetts product posted a time of 15.44 seconds in the 110 hurdles and 56.96 seconds in the 400 hurdles as he qualified for the Division III New England Championships in both events.
Adigwe currently ranks fourth in the East Region in the 110 hurdles and seventh in the 400 hurdles.
The MASCAC Track Athlete of the Week honor marks the fourth of Adigwe's career (three outdoor, one indoor).
The BSU outdoor track & field teams travel to Darmouth, Massachusetts on Saturday for the UMass Dartmouth Corsair Classic.
