If you are unable to attend the Election you may request an absentee ballot or vote early. Please provide an application or a note with your signature requesting that a ballot be mailed to you. Mail to; Town Clerk 500 Gliniewicz Way, Abington MA 02351. Postcards will not be sent for the ATE, postcards are only mailed for State/Federal Elections.

Permanent changes were made to the law in the summer of 2020 that affect early and absentee voting. As a result of these changes:
- The deadline to apply for a vote by mail ballot (whether absentee or early, if applicable) is 5pm on the 5th business day before the election.
- Generally, if you have a Tuesday election, the deadline will be the Wednesday before.
- You must submit the application by the 5pm deadline.
- The deadline for in person absentee voters remains 12pm the day before the election generally, unless the day before is a holiday.
- A voter admitted to a health care facility after 12pm on the SEVENTH day before the election can request a hand-delivered AV ballot.
- Drop boxes, if provided, can be used to return all mail-in ballots. (Front of Town Hall box on right)
The deadline to apply for an absentee or early ballot by mail is 5:00 PM on the 5th business day prior to the election ( April 24th, 2023).
