Rep. Stephen F. Lynch discusses community event participation and political stance

On March 12, Rep. Lynch attended a senior luncheon at the Condon Community Center, where he was joined by several notable figures including Mayor Wu, Rep. David Biele, Captain Boyle, and police officers. In his tweet about the event, he expressed enjoyment in gathering with seniors and mentioned that Mira slept through the occasion: "The Condon Community Center St. Patty’s Senior luncheon was an absolute hoot today! Great to get together with all our Seniors and join Mayor Wu and Mira (slept right through it - such a good baby!) and Rep. David Biele and Captain Boyle and our excellent police officers from…".

In another tweet dated March 13, Lynch voiced his opposition to a funding bill associated with Republicans and Elon Musk. He stated that he had collaborated with House Democrats to propose an alternative four-week funding extension aimed at preventing harmful cuts while allowing time for a bipartisan agreement: "The Republican/Elon Musk funding bill should be rejected by the U.S. Senate. I have joined with House Democrats to replace that bill with a four-week funding extension that stops harmful cuts and gives Congress sufficient time to reach a bipartisan funding bill that protects…".

Additionally, on March 13, Lynch discussed his recent interview on Boston Public Radio where he addressed efforts to counteract actions taken by President Trump and Elon Musk: "This week, I spoke with Boston Public Radio about my work in Washington to combat the unlawful actions taken by President Trump and Elon Musk."
