Rep. Stephen F. Lynch, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing Massachusetts' 8th district since 2001, shared his views on several political matters through a series of tweets in March 2025. His posts covered topics ranging from the establishment of the U.S. Institute of Peace to opposition against certain executive orders and support for postal workers.

On March 21, 2025, Rep. Lynch highlighted the bipartisan effort behind the creation of the U.S. Institute of Peace in 1984, stating: "Congress established the U.S. Institute of Peace in 1984 via bipartisan legislation signed by President Ronald Reagan." He noted his past collaboration with the institute and various members of Congress during his tenure as Chairman of the Subcommittee on National Security.

In another post dated March 22, 2025, Rep. Lynch expressed strong disapproval regarding an executive order from former President Trump aimed at dismantling a federal department: "President Trump’s Executive Order to eliminate the Department of Education is unconstitutional and disastrous for American children." He emphasized that Congress holds statutory authority over such departments and their funding.

Further addressing current events, Rep. Lynch participated in a rally on Boston Common on March 24, 2025. He voiced solidarity with postal workers protesting actions by prominent figures: "Great to join hundreds of Letter Carriers and Postal Workers at the 'Fight Like Hell' rally on Boston Common today to protest President Trump’s and Elon Musk’s unlawful attacks Postal Employees, Veterans, and Federal workers."
