On April 10, 2025, Rep. Lynch announced via Twitter his decision to vote against H.R. 22, titled the "SAVE Act," because of concerns it imposes undue burdens on seniors, veterans, servicemembers, women, and low-income voters. Lynch criticized the act for requiring a $130 payment for a passport as a voting requirement, likening it to a poll tax and reiterating that "the right to vote is sacred."

On April 11, 2025, Lynch shared another post indicating involvement in an investigation into Elon Musk’s potential conflict of interest as a Special Government Employee, which could involve violations of federal ethics rules. He expressed concerns over Musk and his associates impacting important public programs and services.

On April 13, 2025, Lynch reflected on a community gathering he attended, detailed in a tweet, celebrating the Friends of Saint Brendan Gathering for Good Charity. Born in Boston in 1955, Lynch holds a BS from Wentworth Institute of Technology and a JD from Boston College.
