Town of Hanover Sign Bylaw Information 7/8/22

With the upcoming elections and the expanded early and absentee voting rights signed into law by Governor Baker, the Town of Hanover wishes to remind candidates and Hanover property owners that under Hanover’s Sign Bylaw political signs may be placed on private property three weeks prior to the start of early voting to three days after the election. This local law was enacted in 1974.

Political signs may go up starting August 6, 2022, until September 9, 2022, and then again from October 1, 2022, until November 11, 2022.

Political signs placed on town property or in the town’s right-of-way can be removed at any time by the Town.
