Rep. Stephen F. Lynch, a longstanding member of the U.S. Congress representing Massachusetts' 8th district, recently shared several updates on his official Twitter account regarding his political activities and stances on various issues.

On February 10, 2025, Rep. Lynch announced his appointment as Co-Chair of the House Labor Caucus Task Force on Public Sector Workers. Later that day, he voiced his opposition to President Trump's decision to suspend U.S. foreign aid during a speech on the House Floor. In his tweet dated February 12, 2025, he stated: "As a member of the Subcommittee on the Military & Foreign Affairs, I spoke on the House Floor in strong opposition to President Trump’s arbitrary suspension of U.S. foreign aid."
