He stated, "I am proud to rejoin the @EqualityCaucus for the 119th Congress. I will continue to fight for the LGBTQIA+ community in the wake of repeated political attacks by the Trump Administration."
On February 13, 2025, Rep. Lynch met with members of the Fire Chiefs Association of Massachusetts in Washington, D.C., highlighting discussions on critical funding initiatives. He remarked on this meeting via social media: "Great to meet with the Fire Chiefs Association of Massachusetts today in Washington, DC to discuss the importance of FIRE and SAFER grant funding and the funding of our hospitals and medical centers to protect EMTs, doctors and nurses, and patients."
Later that day, Rep. Lynch shared insights from a subcommittee hearing focused on government efficiency—a subject he is particularly passionate about as a representative committed to defending democracy. He tweeted: "Today, the Subcommittee on Delivering on Government Efficiency, or DOGE, held its first hearing. As Representative of the 8th Congressional District, I chose to serve on this Subcommittee because I firmly believe that we must make every effort to defend our democracy."
